Inspired by Guy Kawasaki’s The Art of the Start and 37Signals Getting Real we started this simple and fun photo sharing service called ooooj.com (don’t bother, it doesn’t mean anything, we think it looks cool though.). We deliberately have no upload client, no fancy online photo editing tools, no 25 hard to explain geeky features. It’s just a simple photo sharing service. Don’t you dare to call it a “social photo-sharing community”. That’s soooo 2.0 ;-)

Our target audience consists of you, owner of a nice digital camera or a fancy mobile phone looking for a way to simply share some of your funniest, nicest or coolest pics. After all, you don’t take photos to store them on you hard disk… you want to share them with your friends or family. We hope you will “ooooj” them to your friends instead of mailing them.
